Today’s illusion is a variation of the Ouchi Illusion where the center circle appears to be unstable and float above the checkered background image.  This was created by French artist Daniel Picon.

We’ll start off 2013 with a very colorful and powerful motion illusion.  The circles appear to swirl all around the purple background.  The television set in the middle says “I am Bad For Your Eyes”.  Is this message talking about the illusion or the TV itself?

This image is difficult to look at.  It appears to vibrate as your eyes try to focus on it. How long do you think that you could look at this image without it driving you completely crazy?  I would guess no longer than a few minutes.
